This year Heartland Camp will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages up to sixth grade. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Heartland Camp on April 19, 2014, which is the Saturday before Easter. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. which gives you plenty of time to join in on the fun. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be s’mores and other fun camp activities. Children can also get a picture with the Easter horse at Heartland Camp. Powell Gardens Easter Egg Hunt
Powell Gardens is located in Kingsville MO, but if you’re familiar with the area, it’s not a far drive from Kansas City MO, and we can assure you that the Powell Gardens Easter Egg Hunt will be worth the drive. Like the Heartland Camp Easter Egg Hunt, the event will be held on April 19, 2014. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. but there will be a variety of other activities taking place beforehand. The event will feature two separate times for a pancake breakfast—one at 8:45 a.m. and another at 10 a.m. After the breakfast there will be activities such as pot painting, face painting, storytelling and coloring.
