2016 Ford Focus RS Color Options
Earlier this year, when Ford unveiled a quarter of their promised performance vehicles, there were a lot of questions about the paint color that they were unveiled in. The color, which has been dubbed Liquid Blue, will not be making it to the list of the 2016 Ford Focus RS color options, but the automaker has announced that the performance hatchback will be available in a different shade of blue, as well as three other colors.
Just recently, Ford released pictures of the U.S. version of the compact hatch, giving us proof that there will be virtually no difference between the European and U.S. Focus RS, but also giving us our first look at the shade of blue that will be offered on the body. According to the automaker, the newest color that will find its way to the list of options has been called Nitrous Blue—a fitting name for the quick little Focus.
The other three paint options have also been named, but we have yet to see a Ford Focus RS covered in any of the other four-coat metallic finishes. All we can do at this point is picture just how sleek the new options will look. When it arrives next spring, it will be available in Stealth Gray, Shadow Black and Frozen White.
If any of the three names that we just mentioned sound familiar, it’s because they have been found on Ford models in the past. The only color option that will be exclusive to the Ford Focus RS will be the Nitrous Blue that we mentioned earlier. For that reason, we have a feeling that there will be quite a few requests for the brand-new shade of blue when Ford begins to take orders for the RS later on this year.
To see the 2016 Ford Focus RS in the other three color options, be sure to check back here on the Matt Ford blog, as we will be sure to provide you with pictures as soon as they are made available. In the meantime, you will just have to settle for the pictures of the hatchback with the Nitrous Blue skin.
