Ford Transit Turned Into a Mobile Kitchen

The Ford Transit is a utility van that is very capable and customizable. Ford recently proved exactly how customizable this vehicle is while giving back to a charitable cause. Ford turned a Transit into a mobile kitchen to benefit the Salvation Army’s Grate Patrol program that serves meals to more than 150 homeless people in Washington D.C. per night.

Ford Transit Turned Into a Mobile KitchenAccording to Ford Motor Company Fund Director, Janet Lawson, “Ford is proud to support the salvation Army’s Mobile Meals program as part of our commitment to help build strong communities everywhere our employees live and work. Transit, American’s best-selling commercial van, has the size and flexibility that make it the right vehicle for this program.
