2015 Ford Mustang Independence MO

Although the wait felt as if it spanned for decades, it is officially over. The all-new Mustang has arrived, and if you have been looking to get yourself behind the wheel of the redesigned pony car, you will be sure to appreciate that we already have the 2015 Ford Mustang in Independence MO. It is primed and ready for you, and to prepare you for the day that you take it for a test drive, we have decided to take a closer look at all that the new design contains.

Up front there is a brand-new grille that serves as the focal point of the front end. On either side of that, you can find a set of air curtains that help to deliver the increased aerodynamics. The subtle, yet effective curtains help to reduce wind resistance and direct air around the vehicle, helping to increase the overall fuel economy.

While we’re on the subject of fuel economy, it’s worth nothing that there is a brand-new, efficient engine being offered in the nose of the Mustang. It is the first four-cylinder engine to make its way under the hood of a Mustang since 1993, and if you are looking to get some impressive performance, yet still want to save money at the pumps, you are sure to find that the EcoBoost engine is the ideal choice for your needs.

A short while back, Ford announced the official fuel economy ratings, and as the engine only has four pistons at work, it’s able to conserve a full tank of fuel for some serious distances. With the turbocharged engine in place, the Mustang is able to travel as far as 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Never before has the pony car been able to achieve such high ratings. Perhaps the greatest part of all is that despite its impressive efficiency, the four-cylinder engine produces an astounding 310 horsepower.

Seeing as the 2015 Ford Mustang doesn’t have to sacrifice efficiency for power, it comes as no surprise that such a growing number of Independence residents are already trading in their current vehicles for the ever-exciting, all-new Mustang. If you are interested in learning more about, or test driving the redesigned Mustang, be sure to get in touch with us here at Matt Ford. We’re located in Eastern Independence right off of Highway 24, and as we’re so close, there is really no excuse to not come in and see it for yourself.
