2015 Ford Transit Connect Release Date
If you own a business that requires hauling or delivery services at all, you may want to check out all that the Ford Transit Connect has to offer, as it’s a great vehicle for growing businesses that have outgrown a minivan. The Transit Connect has been completely redesigned for the 2015 model year, and while the 2015 Ford Transit Connect release date won’t be arriving until this summer, we have all the information you need to know about the cargo van to prepare for the day that it arrives in our new car inventory.
Perhaps the best part about the 2015 Ford Transit Connect is that it will be offered a wide variety of configurations, allowing it to cater to the needs of just about any business in Kansas City, MO. The Transit is available as a spacious and capable van, a roomier wagon and a versatile chassis cab. As we deal with commercial vehicles here at Matt Ford, we will likely only carry the cargo van version of the Transit, but if you’re interested in one of the other configurations, be sure to let us know and we will get it delivered for you.
While we may only ever heave the cargo van model in stock, it’s not too big of a concern as out of the four available configurations, the cargo van is arguably the most versatile. The 2015 Ford Transit Connect cargo van is available with three different roof heights and a range of wheel bases to increase flexibility and provide more storage space for those who need it. Having such a variety of options to choose from is one of the many things that separate the Transit Connect from a smaller, less-capable minivan.
No matter how big of a load you stick in the back of the 2015 Ford Transit Connect, it has the power to handle it. The Ford Transit Connect comes with the choice of three different engines, each of which provides a different capability. If you’re looking for efficiency, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 is likely to be the most appealing engine. If you’re searching for a little more power, the 3.7-liter V6 that’s made available under the hood is undoubtedly the best option. However, if power is all you’re looking for, the 3.2-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel is hands down the best option.
Official power and fuel economy ratings for the engines haven’t been released yet, but if they’re anything like the ratings of previous models, they are bound to be impressive. The Transit Connect has never been offered with a diesel engine before, so it’s likely that the cargo van will find an even greater deal of success now that a diesel engine will be offered under the hood.
As we said, the 2015 Ford Transit Connect release date is scheduled to arrive this summer. We’re not quite sure exactly when it will be available in our showroom, but if you’re interested in test driving or purchasing one of the cargo vans, be sure to get in touch with us. We can ensure that we get a 2015 Ford Transit Connect delivered right away for you. More information about the 2015 model of the Transit Connect is expected to be unveiled as we move closer to the cargo van’s release, so be sure to check back in the near future here on the Matt Ford blog for more information. As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to stop by our showroom or give us a ring. We’re more than happy to help in any way that we can.
