There have been rumors floating around within the automotive industry that Ford would be releasing a completely redesigned version of their famous Super Duty line of pickup trucks in the near future. Well, we are happy to announce that those rumors are officially true, and that Ford has surprised us all by unveiling the next-generation 2017 Ford Super Duty. We have already had a lot of people coming into Matt Ford to ask us questions about the new 2017 Super Duty. Therefore, we wanted to take a little time to tell you about these new redesigned 2017 Super Duty trucks.

Next-Generation 2017 Ford Super DutyFord has recently unveiled the next-generation Super Duty, and it’s already creating quite a buzz within the automotive industry. This is by far the smartest, toughest and most capable Super Duty that the blue oval automaker has ever created. First of all, they replaced the steel body with an all-new lightweight, military grade, fully-aluminum body. Ford was able to use some of the weight savings to beef up the truck in order to make it tougher than ever. This new truck is stronger and 350 pounds lighter than the previous generation. Therefore, it will have a much higher tow rating hailing capacity than ever before.

Next-Generation 2017 Ford Super DutyNot only is the new Super Duty tougher than ever, it’s also smarter than ever as well. Ford has equipped this new truck with a lot of segment-exclusive technology that will increase productivity and make your life easier. There are 16 class-exclusive new features that make the Super Duty the smartest truck on the road. You’ll get everything from LED lighting, to Adaptive Cruise Control, SYNC 3 infotainment and much more.

As of right now Ford is not releasing any horsepower, torque, tow rating or payload rating information. However, they are assuring us that we will see significant improvements in all of those categories.

According to Ford Group Vice President, Global Product Development, Raj Nair, “While Super Duty is America’s best-selling heavy-duty truck, we never take our leadership for granted. Our team is using relentless innovation in materials, technology and Built Ford Tough engineering to deliver customers our best Super Duty yet.”
