Pre-Owned Ford vs Certified Pre-Owned Ford
If you’re currently in the shopping phase of the car buying process, you’ve likely come across the debate of pre-owned cars vs Certified Pre-Owned cars. We say that with quite a bit of confidence because our customers often tell us that they encounter the age-old question, and typically look to us for an answer.
For that reason, we thought it would be helpful to provide you with our thoughts on the advantages of a pre-owned Ford vs Certified Pre-Owned Ford. We hope that this will settle the score once and for all.
Before we get heavy into it, it’s worth noting that both of the vehicles come with certain benefits. There isn’t really one that is better than the other, and that is especially true when it comes to pre-owned Ford models as vehicles outfitted with the iconic blue oval are built to last, which means that even some of the oldest pre-owned vehicles have potential to last as long as some newer vehicles from other automakers.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the two models has to do with price and what you get for that price. Pre-owned vehicles typically come with a lower price tag, but you can get better deals on some of the Certified Pre-Owned models, which are typically available with some sort of special. In some cases, the vehicles come with annual percentage rates lower than one percent, making them very affordable.
Another one of the benefits of Certified Pre-Owned vehicles is that the warranties that they come with are usually a bit more appealing. They not only last longer, but cover more areas of the vehicles, which allows you to rest much easier. Pre-owned Ford models come with warranties as well, but they are not able to provide as much coverage. It essentially comes down to a matter of you get what you pay for.
If you want to learn more about what separates pre-owned vehicles from Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, we encourage you to get in touch with us here at Matt Ford. We have both types of pre-owned models in stock, and would be more than happy to outline the advantages of both for you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us. We would be more than happy to speak with you.
